Fok Yee is known for hard selections and marathon performances. He started DJing more than twenty years ago with a focus on drum & bass, moved into techno in 2013 and plays vinyl together with modern technology. Old-school and newer ravers know him as the “final boss”, whose improvised sets can run far beyond the schedule. [4]
Fok Yee grew out of DND, his earlier drum & bass identity. The fast mixing learned through drum, jungle and core now meets raw industrial techno, with the stamina behind accidental ten-, fourteen- and even twenty-one-hour sets. [5][1]
His Resident Advisor profile points to an industrial sound and residencies with Tallinn Infected and Machine Nation, and the listings follow Machine Nation celebrations at HALL Tallinn from 2023 on. His own SoundCloud calls Fok Yee a Singapore-Estonian techno project. [15][16]
